My name is Xie Cuiqing. I graduated from the Overseas Education College of Xiamen University, and I am currently studying for a Ph.D. in Chinese Studies at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. I am outgoing and friendly and good at communication. From 2017 to 2018, I worked as a Chinese teacher at Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand and got one-year bilingual (English, Chinese) teaching experience. I have also worked as a part-time Chinese teacher in a number of Chinese training institutions and as a teaching assistant for Chinese courses for foreign students. I have published academic papers in journals such as Overseas Chinese Education and participated in compiling Mongolian Chinese textbooks, thus I am a rare Chinese teacher with an academic background. Years of Chinese teaching experience have given me a deep understanding of the needs of Chinese learners at different levels.
